About me

Hi, I'm Ellise!

MY STORY

Hi and welcome to my page! Let me tell you a bit more about myself and how I got to where I am now.

As a track and field athlete, I’ve essentially spent my whole life moving. But my sport also quickly taught me discipline, ambition and passion. More importantly, though, it made me a resilient and mentally strong person – qualities that have had a long-term impact on all other areas of my life, not just my physical performance.

I only really became aware of that when several injuries stopped me from running and I had to ask myself who I was without the sport that had shaped my identity my whole life. During rehab, I found a new passion in strength training. After years of having a rather sceptical view of the fitness industry, I experienced hands-on how strong this form of exercise can make you feel.

That is something I want to convey to women, in particular, because it gives us a whole new level of self-confidence in how we walk into a room –but also through life. As well as making us more resilient and balanced. That is why women’s empowerment is so important to me.

But apart from my motivation to empower women, I became a coach because I love interacting with other people. I also work as a translator – a job in which I spent years just looking at texts on a screen. It made me realise I wanted to work more with people. Because at the end of the day, forming personal connections and accompanying others on their journey gives you so much more than just ticking off jobs from your project list.

I am excited to guide you on your fitness journey and work with you on your personal development.
